it goes here too!

old quickest was 13.888, Now:
Bone yard trans (OBX sitting on bro's bench for no particular reason)
Boneyard head (angle milled Head sitting in my drawer for no particular reason)
E-85
less weigh 1960lbs w/o
MS
With muffler

Image

My bro got 14.278 with cheaters, heavier than me and .3 slower 50'- One broke axle

Weird, so something locked up in trans- pulled right and wouldn't turn.
I literately couldn't turn onto pit road.
When backing, it popped, or if I tried to turn even the slightest.
It freed up and made it back to Mpls

20x8x16 MT's
Bro had 225/45R14 Drag Radials

Sure- We have e-85 and Stage Zero injectors, not sure it'd help anyone
We need to fire every rev instead of every other and try stock injectors for output- SRT is too bi methinks

Perfect! haha I've got stg 0 injectors also and Im gonna do table switching for 91 and e85.
I'm just curious as to your ignition map. Right now the max timing I'm doing on mine is ~33. That's with 91. Haven't started on e85 yet.

That's crazy. i wonder how much of that i could do to my rt to drop a few pounds. I wouldn't want to modify my hood or any of the other extreme stuff you have done, Just a light diet. Do you have a weight reduc thread hiding somewhere?

Today best I could do is 14 Flat.
Was warmer 56, more humid 83%, headwinds (E 9MPH) this time

Doug did 14.130 with slicks; not as aggressive as I am sidestepping clutch so as they grab, his RPM drops to 4k.

Just used weight redux 101, Was going to do a writeup, but it's all pretty basic.

I'll do more on simple bolt-offs for the track in another thread, then delete this, but most of it is simply what you see;
Spare, Jack & cover (I've got a few Alumispares if you want one, you'll drop at the weight savings)
Passenger's seat (Weighs ALOT)
Rear seat foam (~8lbs IIRC)
Rear seat back (Fold down super-heavy)
Seat belts rear and passenger's
Carpet (Even without foam it's 10lbs)
door panels, interior 1/4 panels
Rear fascia, rear bumper
Muffler 20lbs
Window regulators (use pins or vice grips)

Almost 200lbs

all this stuff comes off easy (except carpet, you'll have to cut center, but cut's hidden)

Got mine down to 2340lbs. AC, PS, pollution junk delete, bare trunk. Kinda disappointing, I thought it would weigh less but I am keeping my mint interior. Prolly about 20lbs of undercoating but no way I'm removing that the old fashioned way and dry ice blasting is probably $$$

There's LOTS of tar undercoating- Pull carpet- (you can remove carpet 'back') and let it sit in sun- It'll come right off!!

2300 lbs is actually really good. Can get an alumispare

Dunno, did a search and got 2380 as stock weight. I was like all that stuff had to be more than 40lbs that mass damper had to be 10lbs alone lol.

Good to know the sound deadener will come off when warm, seems stuck on pretty good. Might be a while before my car sees daylight. Never heard of an alumispare, are they rare like aluminum motor mounts?

Only a '95 base MAY have been that low-

Alumispare came only '01 PL's and PT's (15") Got one if U need!
