Stock SRT-4 Turbo on 420a

Postby goodhart » Mon Jul 05, 2010 3:03 am

I know of a few people that have done this, and I was wondering if anyone had done it to a 1g dodge avenger. They have the same 420a engine, except it sits backwards (exhaust in the front, intake in rear) compared to a Neon. That would mean there would be plenty of room, so I could see this as being doable, I just havent seen anyone do it even with quite a bit of searching on the interwebz. This is for a friend and he wants more out of the Avenger, and I know Neon guys do it so I figured why not?

If anyone could help me out here and shed some light on what all needs to be done that would be great. I really didnt see much on this site for info regarding this topic.

I guess the manifold will bolt up fine, but will not clear some things. For this to work, one would have to get pretty creative with the water pipe, and remove the Power steering and air conditioning.
