Anybody here running them? How do you like them? Who carries them? I tried Summit and Jegs, no luck there.

Thanks! I contacted them and they no longer make the 2244, but they will modify my PT lifters for $175 plus $10 for return shipping. I think this might be the way to go with my Stage3 Crower cams which are a little smaller than your 18's.

I forgot to ask, since it idled and pulled vacuum like stock, did you have to pull fuel at idle or just at higher rpm's?

Every combo is different. I was pulling max at idle(-50%)
Whoa!!!! Just reread your post. You'll need to add fuel at higher RPMs!!!! The Rhoads lifters basically make a cam appear smaller at lower RPM by bleeding down. At higher RPM they "pump up" ie don't have time to bleed down so they give the full lift and duration of the cam. And bigger cams need more fuel.

Here's why you Dyno Tune. Compare this Baseline Graph to the Cam gear adjusted, SAFC tuned Graph. Only difference is I uncorked the exhaust dump on tuned run same day.

That's exactly how they did mine. I bought the Brand New Mopar Performance Upgrade Lifters(PT Lifters) and sent them in to have modified. They shipped them back in a sexy Rhoads Box with the part # I quoted you. Haven't had time to get on my home pc to upload the pics of the box and # yet. But I will eventually to complete this thread.

Just going with what I read at the big .org, guy from Illinois said the MP computer is programmed on the rich side and he pulled fuel at all rpm's (think he's running 18's also) So basically, who cares what anyone else did, pull/add fuel according to my combo :thumbleft:

A pic of the sexy Rhoads box will make this thread one of the best threads ever!

U wont need to add more fuel at the upper rpms. I actually am pulling fuel in the upper rpms with my 2.0l crower stg 3. I'm running a completely stock fuel system too. Without the rhodes lifters you would also need to pull fuel at idle so u wont screw up the fuel trims, which makes you run super lean at idle

Negative on that Rickster. I wasn't able to do a before and after because I installed everything at the same time. I "believe" that from other graphs I've seen with very simular setups that my combo has more low end torque, and a flatter curve. I haven't seen another stock bottom end, stock intake, mid tube header with Crane 18's make 174.9 whp either.

The reason I'm intrested in these is because I'm running stage 4 crowers. And anything that can maximize these cams I'm all about it.

They are completely "plug& play"! They mainly help with street ability. Increase vaccume and make the motor"believe"it has much"smaller" cams at lower rpms.
My Crane 18's idled like a stock Neon. My high compression Crane 22 motor was a great daily driver until it died for unknown reasons with the lifters from the previous build. I never had it tuned or dyno'd, but I'm sure I was well above 200whp.
