I likely won't be there, see I got this great idea to get a Toyota alternator, and and alternator udp and the regulator let it full field, so it got very hot. I have another two, one of which looks bad because the fields have some connection to ground, the other one is new, but for whatever reason never worked, so I got a old time mopar regulator and bolted it to the dash, but the one that seems to work has a poor bearing. I can't get it apart to swap the bearing with the bad one- and the pulley isn't loosening. I suppose I could try harder, but I'm kinda tiring of it.
I'll try to get it going later, but few chances.
Someone'll help you. Or just stop over sometime.

well i went out and got some new copper tipped spark plugs. they're not champions though, they're NGK's. i was told they're good. i'm hoping i didn't make a mistake because they were a dollar more each than the champion and the bosch copper tips. they were as much as the bosch platinum tipped ones.

they better be worth it, i wasn't able to go to cheetah auto. i was gonna go with my friend but he neglected to tell me that they closed at 6 so i had to go to autozone

i was gonna get spark plug wires also but they only had $20 duralast ones in store. they had bosch wires at the warehouse the guy said. so i just told him i'd wait.

it's dave's brother, my friends dad who has been telling me not to use champions though.

i put the NGK copper tips in and it's running significantly better already. all the tips of the bosch plugs were already old and corroded looking.

a few of the people there looked at it for me. joe was revving the engine and it backfired so thats not good, it's done that a few times before. like 3 or 4 since i got the car. but after i left the meet it actually seemed to be running better after it backfired, it was hardly stuttering at all. that seems kinda weird to me. and since i put the NGK plugs in when i got back it hasn't had any significant stuttering or power lag at all.
