pre-austin meet up

Post here if your meeting up to head down. I can take charge of this little pre-meet plan is meet up between 9-10 leave at 10 sharp hit a gas stop for the people that didn't get gas before meeting up and head down. Colby could ya pm me directions to where we are meeting up down there

For the most part it will be a simple drive for all of you.. hop on I-35 heading South, until you hit I-90 and go East. I'm currently trying to decide between meeting in a parking lot, or a park. I'm also trying to pick a spot that will be easy enough for out-of-towners to find. I should know in a week or two the final destination, and will let you all know.

Yeah I guess I should of mentioned that. Burnsville center usual meeting spot. For the newbies that haven't met there before its the north side of the mall far lot from applebees by the jewlery store I plan on being there at 9am I'll pm my number if anybody needs it

One thing I would like to add is if anybody has 2way radios please bring them with it'll make life alittle easier for the trip down there

I do know there is a bit of road construction on I-35 near Faribault and between Owatonna and Albert Lea. This will probably slow down your drive a bit, but I don't know how much..

Once you get past Owatonna, there is the choice of taking Highway 218 down to Austin, but that's up to you guys..

For simplicity, it's probably better to just take I-35 all the way down to I-90 so you don't have to worry about getting everyone off the Interstate, but that decision is up to you guys on the cruise down!

I'm hoping that time of morning it won't be backed up but there is a frontage road that will sidestep the whole merge in point that I know I will bring that upthat morning
